批评话语分析视域下英语学习者批评性阅读能力培养实证研究

摘  要:运用评价理论结合问卷调查对英语学习者的批评性阅读能力进行定性、定量实证考察,得出如下结论:其一,英语学习者普遍缺乏批评语言意识和批评性阅读能力;其二,批评性阅读能力不会随英语能力的提高而自动提高,必须通过有意识的培养;其三,在课堂上融入批评话语分析和评价理论的学习和训练有助于增强学生的批评语言意识,加大其批评阅读策略运用,提高其批评性阅读能力。Using APPRAISAL theory and questionnaire,this paper focuses on a qualitative and quantitative empirical study of the development of English learners' critical literacy. The teaching experiment and the pre-experimental and post-experimental assessments of English learners' critical literacy as well as the questionnaire results lead to the following conclusions: 1. English learners,generally,are in lack of critical language awareness and critical literacy; 2.critical literacy does not improve automatically with the enhancement of English language skills,and thus must be cultivated intentionally; 3.introduction of APPRAISAL theory and critical discourse analysis into classroom learning and training helps to raise students' critical language awareness,increase their critical reading strategy use,and improve their critical literacy.
