摘　　要：该文讨论实现"中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦"力学应起和所起的作用。全文共分9个部分:1)力学;2)科技;3)土木;4)水利;5)交通;6)能源;7)一带一路;8)兴军强军;9)结论。比较详尽地阐述了中国建国后特别是改革开放以后与力学有关的国民经济的重大发展。我们四人均先后任职《工程力学》主编,诚以此文献给2017年10月胜利召开的第十九次全国党代表大会。今年(2018年)又适逢钱学森先生1958年所做的"争取力学工作大跃进"报告第60个年头,这个报告促进并加强了力学在国民经济各个领域的强大作用,愿以此文兼及纪念。This paper demonstrates the responsibility and role of mechanics when pursuing ＇the Chinese Dream of the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation＇. The paper contains 9 parts： 1） mechanics; 2） science and technology; 3） civil engineering; 4） hydraulic engineering; 5） transportation; 6） energy engineering; 7） one-belt-one-road; 8） strengthening national defense; 9） conclusions. This paper systematically summaries the major achievements about the application of mechanics after 1949 and 1978. The four authors are the editors-in-chief of Engineering Mechanics journal, subsequently. This paper is written to celebrate the success of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It is also to memorialize the 60th anniversary of the report by Prof. Xuesen Qian on ＇Working on the the Great Leap Forward of Mechanics＇. Prof. Qian＇s report had significant impact on the application of mechanics in different disciplines in China.
