香严智闲禅师论析

摘　　要：香严智闲是晚唐五代时期在河南地区传播洪州系禅法的代表禅师。他把盛行于湖南、江西一带的沩仰宗思想传播到河南南阳等地。在传法过程中,他延续了沩仰宗的特色,采用较为温和的教化方式,启发学人;在义理上,他把禅宗中传统的"参禅"改造成道家色彩浓厚的"参玄",普及了无为无修的祖师禅思想。与河南浓厚的地域文化相应,他在教化时多采用诗歌体的颂辞,创立了独特的个人标签。这种形式密切了与士大夫间的联系,为宋代禅宗的文学化转向奠定了基础。Xiangyan Zhi xian was a famous Chan master in late Tang and Five Dynasties,who spreaded the thoughts of Wei Yang sect which was popular in Hunan and Jiangxi areas to Henan. On the way of transmitting the Dharma,he insisted tradtional methods of Wei Yang sect,that was,using the mild ways to enligten learners,changing practices on Chan to metaphysics and populating thougts on Bodhiharma Chan. As in Henan ares where poem was prevail,Zhi xian also used poetic style to express views which became his label and closed relationships between Chan masters and scholar bureaucrat. And the poetice style made a great contribution to devolpment in culture from Tang to Song dyansty.
