摘 要:元明清三朝本着"齐政施教""因俗为治""以夷制夷"的精神,在整合历代历朝"治夷""治边"经验的基础上,建立完善了土司制度,其目的在于加强中央王朝对土司地区的管控,维护"万众归心,天下归一"的"大一统"。为使土司制度在土司地区能够有序、良序运行,中央王朝对土司的职衔品级、朝贡赋纳、司位承袭、军事征调、文化互动、央地关系、地地关系、统辖隶属等均有详细的规定,反映出国家权力在土司地区的运行及其机制。不过,国家权力在每一个土司地区的具体运行情况各有不同,这里借助永顺土司谱系的研究,力图考察永顺司位的传承情况,从司位传承的角度揭示其运行机制。With the spirit of executing management and promoting civilization in accordance with local realities,dynasties of Yuan,Ming and Qing,on the basis of the past generations' experience in governing minorities and borders,established and improved the chieftain system,so as to strengthen their supervision of chieftain areas and safeguard the "universal reunification".To enable the chieftain system to function well,the central government made detailed specifications in many aspects of chieftains,including their official positions,taxes,position succession,military mobilization,cultural interaction,the relations between the central government and other chieftain areas,and their administrative regions,all reflecting how the government power and chieftain system operated.Nevertheless,the case might have changed in different chieftain areas.This paper,based on the research of Yongshun Chieftain's pedigree,aims at investigating the position succession of Yongshun chieftain and therein exploring its operating mechanism.
