当代乡村意义符号体系的重组——从一个视角解读周立波的《山乡巨变》

摘　　要：《山乡巨变》所描写的绝不仅仅是当代中国农村外在生产组织方式的"巨变",而是同时较多地留下了对乡村社会的意义符号系统进行彻底改造的具体而丰富的细节和场景。这表现在建筑与居室布置及其相应言说符号的改写,关于尊卑贵贱秩序及读书人与非读书人地位等方面的重新理解和排位,还有对于女性行为礼仪、规范以及爱情态度方面的大幅度调整和改写,等等。作品以此表现出与《暴风骤雨》不一样的"史诗性"。Shanxiang Jubian( The Great Changes in the Country) not only depicted the great external changes in the contemporary rural China,but at the same time left more details and scenes of reinventing the system of meaningful symbols of the rural society,which was embodied in the architecture,room layout and its corresponding rewritten symbols,re-understanding and ranking of the high and the low,the status of scholars and non-scholars,and the significant adjustments and rewriting of women's manners,norms,and attitudes toward love. This work,therefore,showed a different "epic"compared with the same author's Baofeng Zhouyu( The Tempest).
