摘　　要：沃尔海姆提出,艺术是生命的一种形式,艺术品以类型和象征作为其不同阶段的存在方式;艺术意义是艺术家的意图、欣赏者的经验和艺术品的特质三者的结合;艺术风格是审美价值和表现的前提,有心理学的现实作为其基础。西方学界对沃尔海姆美学思想的批评具有高度的建设性,值得中国学界借鉴。Wolheim holds that art is a form of life,with types and tokens as the existence of its different periods; that the meaning of art is the combination of artist＇s intentions,the experience of the audience and the characteristics of the artwork; and that artistic styles are the precondition of aesthetic value and presentation,with the reality of psychology as its foundation. The criticism of western academic circles on Wolheim＇s aesthetic thought has high constructive significance,and is worthy of reference for China＇s academic circles.
