摘　　要：学科建设是医院现代化管理和建设的重要组成部分，是医院提高医教研水平，加快人才培养，促进科技创新，实现可持续发展的重要保证。半个多世纪以来，笔者单位烧伤学科经过几代人的不懈努力，学科建设取得令人瞩目的成就。Discipline construction is an important as- pect of hospital modernization management and construction. The level of medical treatment, education, and scientific re- search could be assured and improved through discipline con- struction, which could speed up the talent training, promote sci- ence and technology innovation, and realize the sustainable development of hospital. At present, most of the hospital manage- ment models adopt the two ranks of the hospital and department. The manager of a department must grasp medical treatment, ed- ucation, scientific research, and discipline construction steadily. The author talks about the discipline construction and devel- ooment of burn from ＂ five ideas＂ for the readers.
