跨文化视角下看“信、达、雅”原则对中国古典外译的指导性作用——以《桃花源记》3个英译本为例

摘　　要：我国古典著作《桃花源记》是一篇具有代表性的叙事性散文。在其颇多英译版本中挑选了林语堂、方重及Rick Davis的译本,以严复的"信、达、雅"翻译原则为理论支撑,将3个译本进行对比,分析其各自的优势所在并加以总结,以期对中国古典外译的跨文化交流提供借鉴。As a narrative prose prototype of Chinese classic,The Land of Peach Blossom has been translated into many English versions. Three versions translated by Lin Yutang,Fang Chong and Rick Davis are adopted in this paper as examples. Based on Yan Fu’s＂Faithfulness,Expressiveness and Elegance ＂theory,this paper mainly investigates the cross-cultural translation by analyzing these three versions. The author hopes that this paper will be used as a source of reference to＂Faithfulness,Expressiveness and Elegance＂theory in Chinese classic from the perspective of cross-cultural communication.
