摘　　要：文章基于中国30个省、市、自治区的面板数据,构建了我国公共图书馆发展水平评价指标体系。对公共图书馆的机构数、总流通人次、从业人员等主要统计数据进行了因子分析,并根据公共图书馆发展水平的综合得分,进一步采用分位数回归计量模型进行实证分析。研究发现,从全国范围来看,经济增长对公共图书馆发展产生杠杆效应,人口城市化的溢出效应由公共图书馆发展水平所决定。To investigate the impacts of economic growth and population urbanization on public library development in the whole nation and three economic regions, this article explores the difference level between different regions and provide an objective basis for the construction of public library under the condition of region segmentation. Based on the data of 30 provinces, it constructs the evaluation index system of the level of development of public libraries in China, and carries out a factor analysis on the main statistical data such as the total number of the libraries, circulation times and practitioners, etc. According to the comprehensive score of the public library development level, it further makes an empirical analysis based on quantile regression and draws some conclusion.
