摘　　要：自20世纪90年代以来,伴随着经济、贸易等方面的全球化程度的深入,文化领域的全球共时性也随之产生。一方面,建筑、艺术等文化实践开始进入到全球资本主义系统的流动的生产体系中;另一方面,关于它们的历史书写模式也开始从欧洲中心论转向一种全球史观。在这一背景下,"当代中国建筑"这一范畴逐渐浮现。文章将回溯90年代以来全球范围内的关于当代中国建筑的一系列展览、报道及学术讨论,通过对"当代中国建筑"这一范畴的讨论,来指出其从地理到文化。Since the 1990s, as globalization proceeds in economics and trade, a global comtemporaneity has emerged in the field of cultural production. On the one hand, architectural and cultural practice has entered the global capitalistic production system. On the other hand, its historical narrative has begun to shift from a Eurocentric view to a version with global history. Within this context, Contemporary Chinese Architecture emerges as a category to describe the architectural practice that is related to contemporary China. By tracing a series of exhibitions, reportage and academic discussions on contemporary Chinese architecturaJ practice on a global scaJe, the essay discusses the concept＇s shifting meanings. If earlier attention of the media was on a geographically Chinese architecture which highlights star architects＇ projects in China, the center of focus is now on a culturally Chinese architecture which address itself to how Chinese architects position themselves and their design in a globalized scenario.
