摘　　要：烟台毓璜顶庙会举办地——毓璜顶公园，占地9万平方米，海拔72米，位于烟台市芝罘区中心地带，此地行政独立很晚，历史上一直是福山县管辖的一个“社”，直到1934年才设市。明清时期，以毓璜顶为中心，周边分布着东门村、西门村、南门村、北门村，西南关村、西南村、上夼村、西河村、仓浦村、所东庄村及大、中、小海洋（阳）村等十三个村庄，毓璜顶是当地宗教、经济、政治、文化的中心，毓璜顶庙会也就成为这诸多文化的载体。Situated at a small hill in the south of Zhifu District, Yuhuangding Park derived its name from Yuhuang(玉皇) Temple. Founded in the Yuan Dynasty, Yuhuang(玉皇) Temple was renovated and extended in the Ming and Qing Dynasties before it finally becomes the current architectural complex in a coordinated layout. Its main buildings are Minor Penglai Memorial Archway, Yuhuang(玉皇) Temple, and Yuhuang(玉皇) Pavilion. When Yuhuang(玉皇) Temple was refurbished in the 19 th year of Guangxu Reign in the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed as Yuhuangding(毓璜顶) at the proposal of refined scholars. A couplet was inscribed on the red-painted gate of Yuhuang(玉皇) Temple meaning that nature's delicate and beautiful spirits joined here and created all sorts of fine jades and gems. Recent years witnessed further extension and construction by the gardening department on the former basis, which added more extraordinary sights to Yuhuangding.
