摘　　要：罗伯特·洛厄尔是美国著名的"自白派"诗人。他的诗歌创作风格变化多样,其中最为显著的转变,是从早期的注重传统和形式的创作风格转向中晚期自由、直接、口语化的创作风格。本文以洛厄尔的作品和生活经历为依据,探讨其创作风格转变的原因。研究认为,尽管洛厄尔创作风格在不断变化,他的一些诗学观念亦有连贯性。洛厄尔诗学观念的连贯性在于他认为诗歌创作是一种经验的表达,而他创作风格改变的主要原因是其对经验表达的需求。对洛厄尔而言,"经验"并非仅仅是生活中所经历和发生的事情,"经验"之中还包含着人的情感体验和学识,揭示了人与人、人与自然的关系。Robert Lowell was a renowned American confessional poet whose writing style underwent marked changes. The most obvious was the change from the conventional and formal style in hisearly stage of creation to a freer,more colloquial,and straightforward one in his middle and late stages. On the basis of his writing and life experience,this article explores the reason for the change in Lowell's writing style. This article argues that although Lowell's writing style had changed radically over the years,some of his poetic ideas remained constant,one of which was Lowell's belief that a poem is a kind of expression of experiences. The main reason for the change in Lowell's writing style was his need to express experiences which not only contained personal happenings,feelings,and knowledge,but also revealed the relationships among people,and the relationship between people and their environments.
