摘　　要：本文从湘西地区的苗族与土家族传统文化切入,延伸至当地少数民族传统民居艺术特色,在对两个民族文化及民居艺术的简短介绍中,阐述地域文化之于建筑的重要性,并探究传统民族民居艺术与民族文化性格的深层联系。并为传统建筑文化的传承与发展提供一定的思路。This paper starts from the Xiangxi area of Miao and Tujia traditional culture, extending to the local minority traditional houses in art.Expounds the importance of regional culture in construction with a brief introduction to the two national culture and folk art. And explore the relationship of traditional folk residence art and national culture character, It also provides a certain way of thinking for the inheritance and development of traditional architectural culture.
