摘　　要：以挖掘《西游记》的当代艺术设计价值为目的,将符号学作为一门方法论应用于《西游记》文化符号的研究中,首先从《西游记》的人物、场景、器物三个方面确定符号元素的来源,以约定俗成的共同语境为符号转换前提,探求将符号内涵转换为图像符号并生成设计符号的方法。The purpose of the paper is to tap the value of contemporary art design of Journey to the West.Semiotics as a methodology is applied to the study of symbols of Journey to the West.First of all,from three aspects of the characters,scenes and utensils of Journey to the West,the source of the symboicl elements is determined,and the common context of the convention is used as the symbol conversion premise,and the method of converting the connotation of symbols into image symbols and generating the design symbols is explored.
