San Guo Yan Yi 's English Translations over the Recent 7 Years:Review and Enlightenment

摘　　要：本文按照2011年文军、李培甲对国内《三国演义》英译研究系统评述的思路,从总括性介绍、译者研究、译介史等角度对近七年的《三国演义》英译研究进行了统计与分析。研究发现国内研究无论是研究视角还是论文的数量和质量都有了新的突破,但国外研究仍然很少见。笔者提出,为了实现中国文学"走出去",文学翻译工作者和研究者既要吸取葛浩文的经验,又要对外译作品的接受度做及时有效的跟踪调查,再加以完善。In 2011,Wen Jun and Li Peijia made a systematic review of the domestic studies on San Guo Yan Yi＇s English Translations and posed constructive advice. This paper,based on their thinking,makes a statistical analysis of the studies on San Guo Yan Yi from the perspectives of general introduction,translator studies,translation history,translation strategy,cultural studies,linguistic studies,and translation theories. It is found that over the recent 7 years,the research topics have widened,and the quantity and quality of papers have improved while overseas studies on San Guo Yan Yi is quite little although its English translations have existed for almost a century. In the author＇s opinion,to boost Chinese literature＇s ＂going global＂,literary translators and translation researchers should draw lessons from Howard Goldblatt＇s translations,make effective timely investigation of the acceptance of Chinese literature＇s English translations in English-speaking countries,and perfect them.
