摘　　要：本文以的语块理论为基础,着重探讨外贸英语函电中语块使用的特点、语块在构建外贸英语函电篇章中的作用、以及语块理论在外贸英语函电写作教学中的应用。On the basis of Nattinger ＆ De Carrico’s lexical chunks theory, this paper focuses on the following three questions： 1. What are the characteristics of lexical chunks used in foreign trade letters？2. What roles do lexical chunks play in constructing foreign trade letters？3. How to apply lexical chunks approach to teach foreign trade letters writing？
