Objective To observe the antitumor effect of endostar combined with taxel under different administration sequences. Methods Nude mice with transplantable tumor were randomly divided into 4 groups,Concurrent administration group,Endo-first group,Model group and blank control group. The volume of transplantable tumor were measured. The test of circulating endothelial cells( CECs) were accomplished. Results The transplantable tumor growth inhibition of concurrent administration group(36. 32 ± 30. 58 mm^3)was better than that of the endo-first group(112. 46 ± 71. 78 mm^3) during treatment, neither of them were worse than that of the model group(214. 84 ± 93. 57 mm^3,P = 0. 002,P = 0. 010). The amount of CECs in the the concurrent administration was lower than that of endo-first group group, those groups of aCECS were significantly lower than those of the model group. Conclusion In comparison with the endo—first group. the anti-tumor effect of the concurrent administration group are better. CECs may predict the efficacy of chemotherapy.
