摘 要:杨振宁在第二次回国期间的1972年6月27日至7月5日,与中国科技教育界进行了共计10次的较大范围交流。在此过程中,杨振宁力排众议,反对中国建造高能加速器。杨振宁认为,美国、日本建造高能加速器的经验都不适合中国,中国还不具备条件建造高能加速器,急着上马高能加速器对中国没有好处。杨振宁反对中国建造高能加速器有理有据,并提出了有针对性的建议,这对处于封闭状态中的中国科学家而言是有益的,而且对于后来中国高能加速器的建设也具有启发意义。Chen Ning Yang conducted a total of 10 extensive exchanges with the authorities of Chinese science and technology education sector during his second return from June 27 to July 5,1972.In this process,Yang prevailed over all dissenting views and opposed China to build a highenergy accelerator.He believed that the US and Japan's experience in building the accelerator was not suitable for China.China did not have the conditions,and it would obtain little benefit if a high-energy accelerator was built in haste.In addition to reasonable and well-founded evidence of objection,Chen Ning Yang also made a targeted proposal,thereby not only awakening Chinese scientists who were still in a closed state but also making a instructive contribution to the subsequent construction of China's high-energy accelerator.
