摘 要:石印术作为一种由西方人发明的印刷术,在晚清时期传入中国以后,经历了百余年的发展历史。无论是基于印刷史、出版史还是文献学层面的研究,研究者们多关注石印术早期的传入与发展,而较少关注石印技术与传统雕版印刷技术以及民间坊刻业的关系。本文试图通过考察石印术在近代上海传统文化出版事业中的发展历史,厘清西方印刷新技术与传统雕版印刷、与传统文化出版特别是民间出版之间的关系,以期为石印术与石印本的研究提供一个新的视角。Lithography was introduced from the West to China in late Qing Dynasty, and has since then developed for more than 100 years. Researches on the printing history, publishing history and philology mostly focused on the introduction of lithography into and its development in China, but paid little attention to the relation Chinese culture, particularly the relationship P be between lithographic technology and traditional tween lithographic technology and traditional block printing technology/private bookshop printing This paper sorts out the relationship between new printing technology of the West and traditional culture publishing through examining the history of using lithography in traditional culture publishing of Shanghai in order to provide a fresh perspective for the researches into lithography and lithographic books.
