Objective To investigate the effects of transcatheter selective arterial thrombolysis on acute cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 86 patients with acute cerebral infarction were selected and divided into two groups randomly, with 43 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given routine intravenous thrombolysis, and the patients in the observation group were treated by catheter-mediated intracerebral thrombolysis. Then the curative effects and the improvement of neurological deficit were compared between two groups. Results The effective rate of observation group (95.34%) was higher than that of the control group (79. 06% ), the difference was significant (P 〈 0. 05 ). The NIHSS and mRS scores of the patients in the observation group were better than those of the patients in the control group (P 〈 0. 05 ). There was no significant difference in the complication rate or the mortality between the observation group and the control group (P 〉 0. 05). Conclusions Transcatheter selective arterial throm- bolysis has good curative effects on acute cerebral infarction, which can improve the success rate of treat- ment and rapidly improve the neurological deficit, and has a high clinical application value.
