摘  要:压控振荡器的设计需要着重考虑F/V的非线性度问题。利用电阻网络调节反相器的偏置电压可以提高环形振荡器线性度。讨论了这一电路结构,并提出一种基于梯度下降的快速确定电阻阻值的方法。在此基础上改进这种环形VCO电路结构,仅需使用3个差分延时单元即可实现高线性度。Spectre仿真结果表明,TSMC 180nm CMOS工艺下,该环形VCO线性调频范围为2.26~2.55GHz,在1.8V电源电压下功耗仅为2.07mW,同时实现VCO非线性度在调频范围内小于0.06%。当环形VCO电路振荡在2.4GHz时,相位噪声为-83.21dBc/Hz@1 MHz。The design of a voltage controlled oscillator(VCO)focuses on non-linearity of F/V characteristic.Using a pre-weighted resistor network to adjust bias voltages of inverters which act as delay cells,the linearity of ring VCO is improved.A novel approach using gradient descent is presented to quickly configure the resistor network.Based on the new method,the circuit structure of VCO can be improved,and only uses 3 differential delay cells to achieve high linearity.The Spectre simulation result shows,implemented in TSMC 180 nm CMOS process,the ring-VCO has a frequency range from 2.26 to 2.55 GHz,the power consumption is 2.07 mW at 1.8 V power supply,and the nonlinearity is within 0.06%.Phase noise at 1 MHz offset from 2.4 GHz oscillating frequency is-83.21 dBc/Hz.
