从“毛坯工程师”到“当责工程师”——工程师的伦理角色分析

摘　　要：随着道德发展,工程师的角色趋于复杂多元。作为"前专业人员"的工程师常被视为"自利者"。成为"专业人员"的工程师往往认为自己只需要做好"有产者的仆人",但这种对雇主不恰当的忠诚会伤害企业和公众的利益。实际上,"批评的效忠者"更符合对工程师的职业伦理要求,也可帮助企业规避风险;"有原则的专业人员"在企业拒绝接纳工程师的合理化建议并推卸应尽之责时,应勇于扮演"吹哨人",制止不道德或违法行为。工程师还应成长为"当责者",不但要成为弱势群体的"关爱者",助其获得人格尊重,而且需是"公众利益守护者",关照看不到的被工程影响的群体。历经"自利者—效忠者—举报者—当责者"的角色发展,工程师实现了从"毛坯工程师"到"当责工程师"的蜕变。With the cognitive development of morality,engineers are playing increasingly complex and various roles. At the level of pre-professionalism,engineers are often seen as self-benefited persons. Up to the lever of professionalism,engineers usually think of themselves as＂servants of the property＂. Unfortunately,the improper loyalty to the employers may do harm to the benefits of the company and the public. The critical loyal engineers will not only meet the engineering ethical requirements better but also assist the company to avoid risks. When the company refuses to accept engineers＇ rationalized proposals and shirk their due responsibilities,engineers who rise to the level of principled professionalism should be brave enough to play the role of＂whistle-blowers＂,acting as the person who can stop the unethical or illegal behaviors. Meanwhile,engineers should grow up to be responsible persons who are not only the caregivers of vulnerable groups being disrespected but also the guardian of public interests being ignored and affected. Progressing from being ＂self-benefiting persons＂through ＂being loyal to the company＂and ＂whistle-blowers＂to ＂being responsible persons＂,an engineer has managed to evolve from ＂a green-handed engineer＂to ＂ a responsible engineer. ＂
