摘　　要：郑锦怀撰写的《中国现代图书馆先驱戴志骞研究》是中国图书馆学界近年来涌现的优秀图书馆人物研究成果之一。它注重中英文史料的挖掘利用与互鉴互证,成为考察戴志骞生平事迹与专业贡献、民国图书馆历史甚至美国图书馆发展史的重要参考资料。它的出版,必将在中国图书馆史人物研究和教会大学史研究领域产生广泛而持久的影响。Studies on Dr. Tse-chien Tai A Pioneer of Librarianship in Modem China by Zheng Jinhuai is one of the professional works which published in recent years in Chinese librarianship. It lays emphasis on history material＇s mining, utilization and proofreading between English and Chinese informations. It is an important reference book for researching achievements and contributions of Tsechien Tai, the library history of Republic of China and the development of American libraries. Its publishing will affect the fields of people study in librarianship and missionary university history research.
