摘　　要：文章在巴西政治、经济和文化发展的基础上讨论汉语在巴西传播的历史和现状,并从学生学习动机、教材开发和教师结构3个方面分析了汉语在巴西传播的历史和现存问题,试图说明当前汉语在巴西的传播与中巴发展战略伙伴关系迅猛发展的要求不相适应,指出大力加强汉语在巴西传播研究的紧迫性和必要性。This paper gives an analysis of the history and the current situation of Chinese teaching in Brazil on the basis of the development of political,economic and cultural communication between China and Brazil.It discusses the problems of teaching Chinese to Brazilians in terms of the motivations of the learners,the problems in the textbooks and the composition of the teaching staff.It emphasizes the necessity and urgency of boosting the research on the teaching of Chinese in Brazil because teaching Chinese to Brazilians now does not keep pace with the needs for the development of ChinaBrazil comprehensive strategic partnership.
