摘　　要：本文简述了我校化学工程与工艺专业英语课程的教学内容，探讨了专业英语的教学方法。最后从教学内容、教学方法和考核方式三方面分别分析目前在教学上存在的问题，斗提出了提升教学质量的三种途径：树立学生为导向的考核理念，精选教学内容和探索教学方法。Teaching contents and methods for specialized English of chemical engineering and technology in Yancheng institute of technology were discussed comprehensively in this paper. Furthermore, problems in teaching of specialized English were also analyzed from three aspects, such as teaching contents, teaching methods, and examination modes. Finally, three kinds of corresponding approaches to improve teaching effects were proposed： the establishment of a new viewpoint of examination mode serving the students wholeheartedly, the careful selection of teaching contents and the exploration of new teaching methods
