摘　　要：矛盾修辞法是将两个截然相反的意义融入到一个修饰语的结构中以达到强烈对比效果。本文以《罗密欧与朱丽叶》及曹禺、朱生豪先生译本为例,探讨矛盾修辞法英译汉中的比较研究,旨在理解内涵并掌握科学实用的汉译法则。Contradictory rhetoric is the integration of two opposite meanings into the structure of a modifier to achieve a strong contrast effect. This article takes ＂Romeo and Juliet＂ and the translations of Cao Yu and Zhu Shenghao as examples to explore the comparative study of contradictory rhetoric in English and Chinese, aiming at understanding the connotation and mastering the scientific and practical Chinese translation rules.
