菲利浦·拉金早期诗歌的“非英雄”共同体意识

摘　　要：拉金早期的诗歌折射了20世纪上半叶英国文人焦虑和思变的担当。社会变革和战争纷飞的年代促使年轻诗人探索新的诗歌救赎之路。拉金敏锐地避开当时所谓荣耀的宏大叙事,关注日常生活中的非英雄。拉金把非英雄的故事和英国风景融入英国文学传统,用诗歌的形式加入了＂英国性＂的建构,力图保证英国文化的独立性,重塑了英国的民族自豪感与归属感。拉金早期作品中文化观念的演变也影响着当时英国文学范式的转换。拉金对非英雄、英国性主题的描叙折射了其构建＂非英雄共同体＂的重要思想,显示了特定时期英国青年重新审视和修正英国文学,重新定位自己,建构独特的存在方式。他们对日常生活中平凡个体的关注与尊重,彰显了其对生命存在价值的肯定和对全人类共同命运的关切。Philip Larkin＇s early poems shed light on a sense of British poets＇ anxiety and responsibility in the early of the 20 thCentury. Social reform and world war altered the fabric of writing of young writers. Larkin＇s thoughts on community building find expression in his creative style of poetry,in his choice of character,theme,and so forth. That he tells on common men＇s stories,which he puts traditional elements of poetry,testifies to the fact that he pinpoints Englishness on common man＇s daily lives and on traditional pastoral landscape. The way he establishes Englishness is very important in the sense that it implies a rejection of the grand narrative of Great Britain. By participating in the postwar writing,Larkin triggers off a new critique of and a rebellion against the dominant grand style. All in all,Larkin conceives and formulates an early non-hero community building through his description of non-hero and Englishness,which mirrors his love and concern for human being.
