摘  要:20世纪20至30年代,外来小说深受中国读者的喜爱,高水平的翻译是这一时期英文小说汉译获得成功的一个必要因素。郭沫若作为中国著名的翻译家,在翻译大量作品的同时,创造性地提出了"创作论"的翻译思想,否定"鹦鹉学舌",强调心灵的共鸣和原文风韵的保留,像对待艺术品一样对待原作,想法新颖、实用,很好地指导了中国翻译的实践。在其"创作论"的指导下,深入分析这一时期英译汉小说深受广大读者喜爱的原因,以便更好地指导外来小说的翻译,促进翻译事业的发展。During the 1920 s and 1930 s, foreign novels were popular among Chinese readers, and the high level of translation was a necessary factor for the success of English novels translation. As a famous translator in China, Guo Moruo creatively puts forward the translation thought of "creation theory" while translating a large number of works, which emphasizing the soul resonance and preserving the charm of the original text. The original works should be treated as arts. His fresh and practical ideas guide the practice of Chinese translation. Under the guidance of his "creation theory", this paper will deeply analyze the reasons why the Chinese translation novels in this period is popular, so as to better guide the translation of foreign novels, improve the level of literary translation and promote the development of translation at the same time.
