摘　　要：在系统功能语法中,及物系统是实现语篇概念功能的主要语法手段,同时也是构建语篇主题意义和独特文体风格形成的重要因素。本文通过对Philosophers among the Carrots中的及物性小句进行辨析、分析和评价,以揭示这些语法特征是如何反映语篇主题和独特的文体风格。In Systemic Functional Grammar,Transitivity is the main grammatical method to realize the ideational function as well as one of the critical elements for theme meaning constructing and stylistic formation. Through the classification, analysis and evaluation of transitive clauses, this article is trying to unveil the theme and stylistic features of Philosophers among the Carrots.
