传教士在近代中国医疗活动述略

摘　　要：近代以来,西方传教士为了传教的需要,在中国许多地方进行了广泛的医疗活动,创办了许多教会医院。以伯驾和嘉约翰为代表的传教士在近代中国所进行的医疗活动带有宗教传播和殖民扩张的强行渗透性质,但同时也引入了西方近代新医学知识和先进的诊疗方法,客观上促进了西医学知识的传播和中国近代医疗体制的建立。In the era of modern China,western missionaries carried out extensive medical activities in many parts of China and set up a host of ecclesiastical hospitals with the aim of missionary mission.Such missionaries as Peter Parker and John Glasgow Kerr promoted the spread of religion and deepened the colonial expansion alongside their medical activities in China.It should also be noted that their activities introduced western modern medical knowledge as well as advanced diagnosis and treatment methods,which objectively accelerated the popularization of western medical knowledge and the establishment of Chinese modern medical system.
