摘  要:我国行业特色型高校人才培养虽取得了长足进步,但仍存在一些问题,导致本科生实践能力和创新能力不足,跨界能力和适应能力偏弱,无法适应社会快速变革。要从根本上解决上述问题,行业特色型高校有必要引入STEM教育。对我国35所工科行业特色型高校本科生开展实证调查的结果显示:工科行业特色型高校的本科生总体接受STEM教育,并且STEM学习意愿强烈;学生的STEM学习在性别、年级、毕业去向、认知经历、学校类型等多个因素上存在显著差异;学生的STEM学习收获受STEM学习方法、学习目标、学习内容、学习意愿等因素的影响。Though a great deal of progress has been got in talents cultivation of industry characteristic universities in China, there are still a series of outstanding problems attributing to not only the lack of practical ability and innovation capacity but also the weakness of cross-border capacities and adaptability. To fundamentally solve the problems that undergraduate education cannot adapt to the rapidly changing society, it's essential to introduce STEM education into industry characteristic universities. In order to verify whether STEM education is relevant to be introduced into industry universities, this study conducted an empirical research among undergraduates from 35 engineering industry characteristic universities, which finally shows that undergraduates of engineering industry universities generally accept the STEM education and have a strong STEM learning will. There are some significant differences in STEM learning among students in terms of gender, grade, career development after graduation, school type and cognitive experience. The students' STEM learning gains are influenced by factors such as STEM learning methods, STEM learning goals, STEM learning contents and STEM learning willingness.
