摘 要:"国才考试"全称"国际人才英语考试"(English Test for International Communication),是北京外国语大学中国外语测评中心于2016年推出的职场英语沟通能力认证考试体系,分为"初级""中级""高级""高端"和"高翻"五类。国才考试一经推出即受到广泛关注,已有近百家企业及机构将其作为选聘员工的标准之一。众所周知,标准化考试的研发绝非易事,牵涉众多专业环节。然而,构念界定、任务设计、评分方法始终被视为研发过程的核心议题。本文将重点围绕这三个议题,阐释国才初级、中级、高级和高端考试的构念界定依据、任务设计理念以及评分方法选择。ETIC(English Test for International Communication) is an accreditation system developed by China Language Assessment(a professional testing service established by Beijing Foreign Studies University).Aiming to evaluate one’s ability to perform English language tasks in the international communication contexts,ETIC covers five categories(levels):Basic,Intermediate,Advanced,Superior,and Translation.After its launching in 2016,ETIC has quickly gained recognition and been used as an employee selection criterion by nearly one hundred enterprises and organizations.It is well known that test development is by no means easy.Although the development process requires many components or steps,what to test(construct definition),how to test(task design) and how to score(scoring methods) will always be a top priority.This paper discusses and explains the rationale behind construct definition,task design and relevant scoring methods of ETIC(Basic,Intermediate,Advanced and Superior).
