摘　　要：改革开放催生了生命学科在上海交通大学的创建。40年的探索和实践走出了一条传统理工科大学开创新兴生命学科的独特路径。从无到有、由弱变强,今天的上海交通大学已成为发展生命学科的一片沃土。展望未来,继续深入改革开放、坚持不断创新,生命学科在上海交通大学创"双一流"中大有希望。The reform and opening up gave birth to the creation of the bioscience in Shanghai Jiaotong University. The of explo- ration and practice for 40 yeans have witnessed a unique way to develop the subject of Bioscience, in a growing out of nothing and struggling to perfection. Nowadays, Shanghai Jiaotong University has become a fertile for the development of life sciences. In the future, we will continue to deepen the reform and opening up, and persist in innovation. The subject of Bioseience will have a promising future in the process of ＂Double-First Class＂ construction in Shanghai Jiaotong University.
