摘 要:The publication Lyrical Ballads in 1798 marked the beginning of romanticism, which appeared in England as a new trend in literature at the turn of 18 th and 19 th centuries. The majority of the poems in this collection were written by Wordsworth who was made poet laureate in 1843. After published four versions of Lyrical Ballads, Wordsworth published Poems, in Two Volumes in 1807. However, it didn't bring him as glory as Lyrical Ballads did.
