摘　　要：食管癌是严重威胁人类健康的常见恶性肿瘤之一,食管癌早期即发生淋巴结转移是病人预后的独立危险因素。Twist作为基本的螺旋-环-螺旋转录因子起初被发现在胚胎发育中起关键作用,最近10年研究证明,它在癌症的进展中发挥重要作用。作者主要就Twist与食管癌的发生、侵袭、转移、血管生成、细胞凋亡及预后的关系作一综述。Esophageal carcinoma is one of the most malignant tumors that threatens human health. The early lymphonode metastasis of esophageal carcinoma is an independent risk factor for the prognosis of patients. Twist was originally found to play a key role in embryogenesis as a member of basic helix-loop-helix transcription factors. In recent ten years,Twist has found to be associate with cancer progression.In this review,we summarized the role of Twist in the tumorigenesis,invasion,metastasis,angiogenesis,apoptosis and prognosis of esophageal carcinoma.
