摘　　要：本文以《纽约时报》和《人民日报》的新闻和评论为语料,分析这两家报纸两种新闻体裁中认识立场策略的使用和分布情况。认识立场策略包括言据性表述、认识情态和认识态度谓词。论文通过考察两家报纸两种新闻体裁中认识立场策略使用情况的异同,揭示了哪些不同是体裁性的,哪些是语言性的,从而更好地理解《纽约时报》和《人民日报》认识立场表达方式的偏好。This paper explores the use and distribution of epistemic pinions in New York Times and People＇s Daily （Chinese）,using a self-created corpus. Epistemic resources included here are evidential expressions,epistemic modality and cognitive atitude predi-cates. The research aims to reveal similarities and differences in thein news and opinions of these two famous newspapers,to reveal the variation and variation which is language-specific,deepening our understanding of the strategic preferences in expressing epistemic stances in these two newspapers.
