摘　　要：文章试图在探讨America历史起源和词义演变的基础上,对目前学术界使用译文"美洲""美国"和"美利坚"存在的混乱状况进行梳理和分析,以期引起学界对这一问题的关注。On the basis of exploring the origin of ＂America＂and the evolution of the meaning of the word,this paper tries to analyze the confusion of the existence of ＂America＂and ＂American＂. We hope to attract the attention of the academic community to this problem.
