摘　　要：雅思考试作为国际性英语考试,以测试交际能力为主。通过对测试理论进行分析,发现雅思考试与我国大学英语四级考试的区别。我国英语四级考试以测试语言知识和语言能力为特色,而雅思考试注重社交能力的培养。As an international English test,IELTS mainly tests communicative competence. Through the analysis of testing theory,we find some differences between IELTS and CET-4. According to the analysis,CET-4 is mainly characterized by testing language knowledge and language competence,while IELTS focuses on social skills. This paper expounds and explores the relevant strategies to cultivate communicative competence in English.
