从奥德修斯的生存智慧看古希腊的理性精神

摘　　要：奥德修斯的回家之路是以个人才智战胜困难的过程,也是不断在苦难中寻求智慧的过程。海难、巨人及美人的爱慕,这些或危险或甜蜜的障碍阻隔在他和故乡之间,需要他以卓越的才智和不屈的抗争去迎难而上,成就自我。于苦难中淬炼的生存智慧最终使他达成所愿,也明晰了生命的意义和价值。他的聪慧、机智、理智与智谋构成了独特的智慧之美。荷马赞颂了阿喀琉斯的勇敢之美、赫克托耳的奉献之美,也浓墨重彩地夸赞了奥德修斯身上的智慧之美。时至今日,奥德修斯的生存智慧仍具有重要的启示意义。Odysseus＇ journey to home is a process of overcoming adversity with his own wit and seeking wisdom in suffering. The shipwreck,the giant and the admiration by the beauty,dangerous or sweet,are obstacles separating him from his hometown. All these propel him to meet difficulties with remarkable intelligence and unyielding struggle so as to make himself a great man. The wisdom rooted in suffering finally makes his dream come true and helps him understand life＇s meaning and value. His intelligence,wit,reason and resourcefulness constitute a unique beauty of wisdom. Homer praises Achilles＇ bravery and Hector＇s devotion,and also highly praises Odysseus＇ beauty of wisdom. Even to today,Odysseus＇ survival wisdom is still of important implication.
