戏剧话语中的人际态势——《荷兰人》评价资源分析

摘　　要：新世纪以来,态势(stance)已经成为语言学以及相关学科的一个研究热点,但是存在两个方面的局限:缺乏统一的分析框架;研究对象有待进一步丰富。Martin(2005)的评价理论通过对语言的态度、介入和级差三个语义维度的精密描写为分析态势提供了统一的分析工具。在探讨语言评价资源与态势表达之间关系的基础上,分析了《荷兰人》中两位主人公的评价资源的使用特点及其态势意义,然后进一步分析了评价资源的动态使用怎样表征人际关系的变化及剧本的社会意义。研究表明,结合语境系统分析文本中的评价资源,能更深刻地揭示戏剧人物态势及人物形象,这为文学分析、文体分析提供了一种新的途径。Stance has been a research focus of linguistics and other relevant disciplines since the new century,but the research lacks unified analytical framework and exhaustiveness in research objects.Martin’s appraisal theory of language,with delicate definitions of the three dimensions of attitude,engagement and graduation,provides unified analytical tools for stance research.After the exploration of the relevance between appraisal resources and the representations of stance,this paper analyses the characteristics of appraisal resources and stance meanings of the two major characters in Dutchman,and explores how the dynamics of appraisal resources represents the change of relationships between the two characters and the social meanings of the drama.It is a better way of revealing the interpersonal stances and images of characters in drama by systematically analyzing the appraisal resources,also a new approach to literary and stylistic analysis.
