台湾日据时期苗栗“天香吟社”的历史意义

摘　　要：从台湾苗栗县客家籍仕绅在台湾日据时期(1895-1945)成立"天香吟社"诗社来"文化抗日",观察该社内核心成员儒学家风背景,以及日据时期日本政界言论尺度演变对当时台湾"天香吟社"核心成员的影响,探讨当时台湾客家儒士艰辛传承儒风不忘故国之精神。要之,我国传统儒家社会文化传承,不可能因外国突然殖民当地而造成当地儒风突然中断,仍会有"道统型儒士"藉由一些方式来抵御外国殖民势力、思怀故国。“Tianxiangyin Poetry Society” was established by the Hakka gentry in Miaoli County,Taiwan,during the Japanese colonial period （1895-1945） aiming to “fight against Japanese culturally”.Start with this,this article attempts to explore the spirit of then Taiwan’s Hakka scholars’ hard inheritance of Confucianism and patriotism by referring to the Confucius’s background of the society’s core members and the influences on them exerted by the Japanese political speech.It is found that it is impossible for the inheritance of Confucianism in our country to be interrupted by the sudden colonization of foreign countries and there will still be “Orthodox Confucianism” using some ways to resist foreign colonial forces and to cherish the memory of their homeland.
