摘　　要：通过多位赴美医学类短期访问学者的体会和经历,总结赴美访问的注意事项,为赴美访问提供借鉴。赴美医学类短期访问学者赴美前需要有明确的学术目标,赴美前需要精选拟访单位和教授,根据美国学术文化的方式,联络拟访单位和教授,留美期间进行富有成效的访问。访问结束回国后,应向原单位述职。有鉴于中美文化的差异,访问学者还应当对美国社会有适当接触和了解。Based on the personal experience as short-term medical visiting scholars in the United States,we present our experience in North Carolina.Our purpose is to summarize key issues prior to,during and after the short-term visit for the reference of future visiting scholars.We strongly believe,visiting scholars should have clear academic goals before the visit,carefully choose hospitals and professors to be visited,and contact professors according to the manner in American academia.Several issues are covered on how to make the short-term visit productive.When returning back to China,visiting scholars are highly recommended to report to their hospitals and departments what we have learned.Considering differences in academic culture and medical practice between China and the United States,we believe proper mannerism is also critical for a fruitful visit.
