从“北上广”城市名简称看汉字文化印记的承续

摘　　要：文章以北京、上海、广州三座城市名简称"京沪穗"被异化为"北上广"为例,论述汉字在中华文化传承中的作用和地位,认为中华文化得以延续五千年而不间断,与汉字作为表意文字的特性有关,是其承载的文化印记通过文字的活化得以留存;在全球化、信息化高速发展的移动互联网时代,传承、保护汉字及其承载的中华文化印记应是当代社会各界的必然担当。The three cities in China,Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou have seen their shortened names had been changed from"Jing Hu Sui"to"Bei Shang Guang",which was taken as an example in the article to illustrate the role and place of Chinese characters in the inheritance of Chinese culture.The fact that Chinese culture has been handed down for 5000years without interruption has something to do with the feature of Chinese characters as ideograph,and cultural imprint carried by Chinese characters is preserved through activation of characters.In the era of mobile Internet,with the rapid development of globalization and information technology,it is responsibility of all walks of life in Chinese society to inherit and protect Chinese characters and the Chinese cultural imprint carried by them.
