两个40周年对重新审视和重视中日关系“特殊性”的启示——纪念中国改革开放与《中日和平友好条约》走过“不惑之年”

摘　　要：中国改革开放和《中日和平友好条约》签订分别迎来40周年。在中日经济实力逆转,中国进入新时代之际,重新回顾其间中国对日外交的成功经验与老一代领导人处理中日关系的心得诀窍,对今后进一步理顺对日关系以及谋划东亚新的大格局都有参考意义。20世纪70—80年代中国对日外交成功的主要原因在于：老一代领导人基于自己的信念和理想,借助从延安时代精心培育起来的＂人脉＂,深入把握日本的＂特殊性＂,在日本社会凝聚成一股对华友好、真心帮助中国发展、共同追求亚洲未来的巨大力量,始终主导了两国关系的发展方向。本文主要从两个侧面通过新发掘的历史资料重新考证这一过程的表里内外：一是日本如何对中国改革开放政策的形成及其实施给予了不可或缺的帮助;二是自中日邦交正常化到20世纪80年代,周恩来、邓小平等老一代领导人如何展开了一场风生水起的对日外交。China’ s reforms and opening and the Sino-Japanese Peace Treaty are greeting their respective fortieth anniversary. As the economic power balance between the two countries are changing and China is entering a new era,it is especially useful to reexamine China’ s successful diplomacy with Japan and the lessons gained and stratagems used by Chinese leaders of the past generations in managing Sino-Japanese relations. Such reexamination can facilitate Chinese diplomacy toward Japan and help with strategic planning for an emerging new power structure in East Asia. In the 1970 s and 1980 s,Chinese diplomacy toward Japan was successful mainly for this reason: acting upon their conviction and ideal,Chinese leaders of the past generations utilized personal contacts cultivated carefully during the Yanan period,comprehended profoundly Japan ’ s uniqueness,and helped with the formation of a great force in the Japanese society that was friendly toward China,assisted sincerely China ’ s development,and sought a common future for Asia. This always guided the direction of the bilateral relationship. Based on newly discovered historical information,this article examines this historical process from two aspects. First,how did Japan provide assistance to China that was indispensable for the formation and execution of China ’ s reform and opening policy? Second,from normalization of the Sino-Japanese relations to the 1980 s,how did Chinese leaders of Zhou Enlai ’ s and Deng Xiaoping ’ s generations conduct a vigorous diplomacy toward Japan?
