论刘向《列女传》中比衬手法的运用

摘　　要：刘向的《列女传》是针对汉成帝时期后妃外戚奢侈享乐、度越礼制的社会现实而创作的。在作品中,刘向描写了一系列正反两方面的人物形象,为统治者提供借鉴。在表达主题的过程中,他充分运用了比衬的手法,如男女比衬、老少比衬、贵贱比衬、美丑比衬、国野比衬等,通过鲜明的比衬,极大地提高了作品的表达效果。Biographies of Exemplary Women was written in view of the rotten lifestyle and violation of royal regulations by the relatives of the Cheng emperor on his wife＇s side. In his book, Liu Xiang depicted images of opposite characters as reference for the following rulers. In explaining his theme, Liu Xiang used comparison and contrast in a large scale, such as comparison and contrast between men and women, between the old and the young, between the upper and the low classes, between the ugly and the beautiful, and between the court and the countryside. Through such vivid comparison and contrast, the effect of each story was reinforced forcefully.
