Human urokininogenase (HUK) is a serine protease extracted from the fresh urine of healthy adult males. It is a kind of tissue-type kininogenase, which can convert kininogen into kinin and Angiotensin. Kinin is a pro-inflammatory peptide that mediates a variety of vascular and pain responses in the event of tissue damage. Kinin is mediated by kinin receptors and exerts multiple important neuroprotective effects in acute ischemia and hypoxia of brain tissue. HUK can selectively dilate cerebral small arteries, improve blood supply and oxygen supply in ischemic brain tissue, reduce inflammation cascade reaction after cerebral ischemic injury, and promote vascular and nerve regeneration in ischemic area, clinically acute Ischemic cerebrovascular disease has a good effect, but the specific neuroprotective mechanism during cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury is not very clear. This paper reviews the kininase-kinin release system in recent years. The composition, receptor expression, physiological effects and related research progress in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. It is intended to provide a reference for the treatment of clinical cerebral ischemia.
