论严复“达旨术”的价值及其与“信达雅”的关系——与黄忠廉先生商榷

摘　　要："信达雅"并不专属于严复,不宜称为"严氏信达雅"。由于版权管理的环境改变了,加之中国读者的文化知识水平与认识能力大大提高了,严复的"达旨术"作为翻译方法,在今天已经没有很大的实用价值。"信达雅"的核心是"信"。"信达雅"与"达旨术"之间并无天然的、有机的联系。＂Xin-Da-Ya＂should not be called Yan＇s＂Xin-Da-Ya＂,since it was not invented and exclusively owned by Yan Fu.Yan Fu＇s＂Da-Zhi-Shu＂is no longer a valuable and practical translation method today,because of the new copyright administration situation and the much higher knowledge levels and perceptive abilities of the Chinese readers of today.The core of＂Xin-Da-Ya＂is＂Xin＂.There is no natural and organic relationship between＂Xin-Da-Ya＂and＂Da-Zhi-Shu＂.
