论梁实秋文艺思想的人性说对阿诺德文化观念的承袭

摘  要:英国十九世纪诗人兼批评家马修·阿诺德对梁实秋影响极为深远。人性说是梁实秋一生奉行不悖的文艺思想体系的核心,梁实秋所谓的人性的光辉归根结底就是阿诺德所说的文化观念。"梁氏古典"可以单纯定义为理性、道德、均衡与健康等至上的标准,而"理性、道德、均衡、健康"所有的意蕴恰恰就是阿诺德文化观念的"美好与光明"的全部涵义。梁实秋的人性说承袭阿诺德的文化观念,强调文学表现的是伦理理性节制的人性,是从属于任何阶级的最优秀自我。Matthew Arnold, a British poet and critic in the 19th century, has a significant influence on Liang Shiqiu. The idea of human nature is the core of Liang Shiqiu’s thought of art. His concept of glory of human nature comes from Arnold’s cultural concept. “Liang classics” can be defined as reason, moral, balance, health and so on, which are the meanings of “sweetness and light” in Arnold’s cultural concept. Therefore, it concludes that Liang’s idea of human nature inherits Arnold’s cultural concept and advocates that literature expresses the moderate human nature with reason of ethnics or the ideal self beyond a class.
