从意识形态操控的视角看伊万·金译《骆驼祥子》

摘　　要："五四运动"以后,老舍在左翼思潮的影响下,创作了反映底层劳动人民生活的长篇小说《骆驼祥子》,由于受到意识形态的影响,作者于1957年进行了改写,体现了老舍在思想上由爱国主义向社会主义的转化;而伊万·金在把这部小说译成英文时,为了迎合目标语文化读者,逢迎美国的主流价值观,重写了小说的结局,并虚构了一些人物和情节,这是与英语文化的强势地位和美国的社会意识形态密不可分的;伊万·金译《骆驼祥子》表明目标语文化的意识形态在翻译过程中对赞助人、主流诗学等有重要影响。After the May 4th Movement, Lao She, inspired by the Left-wing ideas, wrote a novel Camel Xiangzi to make known the life of working people in the bottom layer of the society. However forced by the influence of ideology, he rewrote it in 1957, which mirrored the writer＇s mental conversion from patriotism to socialism. While Evan King translated the novel into English, he created a new ending with some imaginary characters and plots typically to cater to the target language readers and truckle to American mainstream values which were inseparable to the center position of the English culture and American ideology. Rickshaw Boy indicated that the target language ideology had significant impacts on patronage and poetics during the process of translation.
