摘　　要：高职教育的特点是以适应社会需要为目标、以培养技术应用能力为主线。以就业为导向,体现专业特色,突出能力本位是高职教育改革和发展的主要任务。高职专业英语教学也必须以此为方向,改革创新,培养人才。The characteristics of higher vocational education adapt to the needs of society and take cultivating the ability of technological application as the main line. The main task of reforming and developing higher vocational education is to be guided by employment, to reflect professional characteristics and to highlight the competency base. English teaching in higher vocational colleges should take this as the direction to take reform and innovation and to cultivate talents.
